Do you constantly feel stressed???

Stress is something we all are dealing with. A man or a woman. A millionaire or a beggar, we all are sailing in the same boat when it comes to stress. (Trust me you are not the only one.)

Personally, I feel anything and everything can make me stressed. When my kid doesn’t eat properly or even when someone shares their problems with me. (yes I am that foolish, I mean sensitive.)

Over the years I have realized that even a 7-8-year-old kid has a stressful life. Kids have stress about exams. Thinking about the pending homework also gives them stress.

Stress is caused by a problem and is the biggest problem in our lives.

So here is what you need to know to deal with your biggest problem, STRESS

The problem is smaller than you think it is.

Yes. We, humans, tend to concentrate on the negatives. The negatives just make a bigger impact on our brains.

When dealing with an issue in life we forget about the pros and just focus on the problems. By thinking and rethinking about it, we just make the problem into a giant iceberg. And thus, find it impossible to break it.

Remember the time when you were not prepared for your presentation in the office?  You sat there all day thinking about now what? What will my boss say? How will I finish it in a day?

A gazillion thoughts ran in your head but you just didn’t take out a moment to work on your presentation.

So stop thinking and just let your actions talk

Concentrate on finding a way out

Like they say, where there is a will, there is a way!

When stressed we can never find the solution to our problems. So to find a solution try and first kick out all the negatives in your head.

Take a break.  Divert yourself. Go for a walk. Meet your bestie. Listen to music. Do whatever you like and that will surely calm you down.

Once you feel relaxed, try and have a broader view. Think about how you can solve your problem. (Try writing it down. It always helps me)

If you don’t find a job vacancy, try being an entrepreneur.

If you don’t like people interfering in your life, cut the ropes. now!

It’s not always about winning

A race in school or a race in winning the badge of the best employee. Both can be stressful.

For us humans, it’s never about enjoying the moment. We concentrate so much on winning that we forget about enjoying the moment.

Remember the time when you were traveling. You thought so much about being on time at the airport and packing every possible thing that you absolutely forgot about being happy about your trip.

Or

When your kid is going to a competition, you want your kid to win. To make everything perfect for the competition, you stress yourself so much that you forget to be happy. Your attitude towards being too competitive makes your kid nervous too.

So next time try and celebrate the small milestones. Let your kid know that you are happy about his participation.

Never forget that gratitude towards small things in life makes the biggest difference.

Don’t let anyone’s opinion impact your state of mind.

We all are surrounded by toxic people in our life. People who love to poke their nose in our lives and spoil our mood.

I often hear my friends cribbing about their mothers-in-law. How the mother-in-law has turned into a monster in law. By simply saying a sentence she can easily make you go from being super happy to super sad.

To all the fellow people who feel they easily get affected by what someone says, I want you guys to know that you are in the worst kind of slavery.

Seriously, if people’s opinions can decide how we feel then we can never prioritize what we want.

Like I say, ignore Namah and chill.

Mental slavery is worse than physical slavery.

Don’t overstretch yourself

No one is perfect and lets accept that.

To please everyone around, we stretch ourselves so much that we lose our mental peace. The husband wants the wife to be happy. The wife wants the kids to be happy. And kids just want the toy shop owner to be happy.

In order to be the perfect one, we forget about what we personally want, like.

We never realize that such things have a huge impact on how we feel. Crushing down your preferences is never good.

So mamas, go for lunch with your girlfriends and stop thinking about the pending laundry.

Daddy’s go have a beer and watch your favorite movie. Don’t stress about the pending bills.

Stressing and can not solve any problem. It surely can add to your problems.

If overthinking or stressing could get us anywhere, I would have been a billionaire by now.

P.S.  not learned from any university or a book. Sharing and growing from my personal experiences.
